Eyebrow Shaping and Makeup Tutorial Video

By popular demand, here is a video on how I do my eyebrows! I will show you how I pluck and trim my brows, as well as how I fill them in using brow powder. This is purely for reference only, and as I said in the video, if you have never done anything to your brows before, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find a beautician or makeup artist to help you out first!

(excuse the no-makeup scary-face by the way :p)

Video Tutorial - Earth-toned Everyday Makeup

After last week's Gyaru makeup tutorial, I figured that this blog need a more practical tutorial. So here is an everyday look that is done with more neutral earth-toned eyeshadow. This is also the first video I did using natural light, so the white balance is all over the place. :p

I am wearing Hana SPC/Hypersize Platinum Brown circle lenses by the way.

Thanks for reading/watching!

Video Tutorial - Japanese Gyaru Makeup!

Here is my latest makeup video tutorial, this time of the ever-popular Japanese Gyaru look! The young ladies that follow this popular fashion trend are well known for their amazing makeup, with carefully applied eyeliner, gorgeous false lashes and awe-inspiring contouring skills. I am so amazed by how much time and effort these girls spend to look so gorgeous every day!

I used mostly browns and beige colors for this look because it is more lashes-focused. The eyeshadow is used to make your eyes look deeper, and I think too much color would overwhelm the face.

Anyway on with the video!

I had to extensively edit my video this time to get it under 10 minutes while being understandable, as there was over 10 gigs of video for me to go through! The music is from a J-Trance album, which is a popular music style among Gyarus.

Here's a closeup of my face showing the whole makeup without the wig:

And here is a GIF showing the progress of each step. Pay attention to how my lashes seems to "grow" from my eyes! XD

Finally, here is a pic of the false eyelashes I used, they are cut-and-pasted together from 5 pairs (2 top, 3 bottom)!

My review for the circle lenses I wore in this look can be found here: http://makeup-piggy.blogspot.com/2010/02/circle-lens-review-eos-g202-or-candy.html

To end this post, have a few more camwhoring pics for good measure:
