Make-Up Tutorial: Purple Smokey Eyes Using Sleek Acid Eye Shadow Palette

Finally today the rain had stopped pouring. And it is such nice and warm and sunny spring day out there so my mood is absolutely great! And I feel like it is a great start to play around my Sleek eye shadow palettes again, because I want to do a series type of make-up looks using all of them, I mean 4 of them which I have got in a swap. So, I decided to start my mini-series from Acid palette which is totally my favourite one. Because the colors in there are absolutely bright and pigmented and neon but powdery. And I am kind of can't wearing them on daily based. Anyways, I have a lot of enjoy and fun just to play with them for my tutorials only.

My today's look is based on smokey sort of basic make-up with a sharp edges on the outer corners. Which is pretty simple to do, you just have to spend some time on a good blending and thats all. I used only 3 colors and brow bone highlight for this look. I also want to note that all these colors are matt, but if you prefering shimmery shades more go ahead and use them. It is really up to you. Hope you'll like the look...

To start with I put on the scotch tape on the corners of my eyes, because I feel kind of lazy to use a plastic card today. After that with a random black eye pencil apply kind of color base for your eye shadows. I used just Dove black eyeliner which is creamy enough to use it for this step. Also after I applied the black eye pencil I blended it in and up with my ring finger.

Next I took my flat stiff brush and packed matte black eye shadow all over the black base. And with a tip of your brush gentely try to blend out all the harsh lines. It is kind of massy right now, but it's ok! Don't worry, it's gonna be very nice in a little bit.

With another flat eye shadow brush I applied violet shade all around the black eye shadow and nicely connected 2 colors together.

Turn the same brush to the other clean side and apply red violet color on top of the previous eye shadow. Just to make it little bit more bright. And again blend all together smoothly. Because smokey eyes it's all about the perfect blending!

Ones you have all that bright colors on, take a big flat eye shadow brush and apply that matte white eye shadow on to the brow bone as a highlight shade. And blend down the violet colors to make the look more soft and smooth. Now you can take off the scotch tape.

Also I lined my waterline with the same black Dove eye pencil and pull it all over the lower lash line. On top of that black pencil I applied the first violet color I've used on my top lid. As well as I applied the same matte white highlight shade on outer corners of my eyes, where the sharp edge is. Just to make them look more nice and clean.

To finish the look I lined my upper lid with The Face Shop black liquid eyeliner, applied VoV #1 false eye lashes, curled them with my real eye lashes and applied a little bit of clear mascara on, just to blend together fake and real lashes a bit better. And thats it!

For my lips I used Castledew lipstick #130 (very light baby pink color) and Icing lipgloss, also in light pink on top of that.

Thats it for the smokey eyes. I don't really know what look is gonna be next, but it definately will be something bright again!

Have a great weekend you all!

Bright Makeup Looks

As I said in my previous blog post I was gonna show some of my make-up looks which I've done during whole last week. Also here is two looks I did using one of the Sleek palettes in Acid which has sort of neon colors in it. By the way, I am gonna to do a series of make-up tutorials using all the Sleek palettes I've got in a swap. So exciting about that too. Have a lot of bright and nice ideas for that.

Anyways, here is the first looks I've done using bright Acid palette. Cutting the crease with a neon purple. On my upper lid I have a neon pink and blue eye shadows. The pink one is so pretty and such vivid eye shadow. In love with all those colors!

Here is another one using some yellow and green neon shadows. Kind of tried to create a 3D effect on my eyes. For my lips I used Sleek Wonder Last lip color in 608 Berry Blush as well. Excuse my wet hair on this picture. Here I just got washed them.

This is another bright look using my VoV 24 palette. I did this make-up before I've got the parcel. So, just played with some colors. Using matte eye shadows in white, green and black. Sort of Spring make-up look.

And here is the last one. Again using VoV 24 palette. For this look I used more matte eye shadow in light orange, bright orange, chocolate brown and baby pink I guess. Hahaha~ I just noticed that my orange pajamas totally suits this make-up look :P

Just a quick update! If you like to see any of these make-up tutorials just let me know and I'll try to re-create it for you.

Make Up Tutorial: Girly Pink + Finished Product

Recently I am all about hair care and stuff. I noticed that my hair does not look like healthy and shiny. All because they are damaged right now, I colored them black all the time before my pregnancy and did perm a few times. Despite the fact that I have cut all the perm hair, on the ends of my hair it is left anyways. So, I can't wait to share that I found two new products, ohh... new at least for me, because I have never use it before now. The other day I have got some free samples of shampoo, serum and hair mask for damaged hair type. And I tried the serum and omg! It is so amazing product! I was scared to smear a lot of products on my hair before, but right now I am so happy I've tried it. Gonna get a full size of the hair serum. And another one is a hair tonic. I bought it a long time ago in a shampoo and conditioner set, but didn't used it. But I found that sprinkle tonic dialy at the roots of my hair prevents less oil. So exciting about these two products!

It was a wonderful and sunny day and so I decided to take the chance to take a good pictures. Because every time I want to do a make up out there is always very overcast. And I always get a yellow and orange tinge on my skin. Today's make-up look just a matte pink eyes. I noticed that for a long time I didn't played with pink eye shadows.

To start with I lightly applied VoV Color Song Eye Color in Folling Pink #4 as my cream color base and blended it upwards. If you don't have any pink bases just go ahead and use your regular one.

Next I used VoV Color Song in Pink Pink all over my main eye lid but I can't show you the actual color I've used because I just finished that eye shadow. So here is a dupe kind of for that pink color. You can use any matte pink shades of your choise. After put the eye shadow on I blended out all the harsh lines with a big fluffy brush.

With the same big fluffy brush I applied VoV Color Song eye shadow in Buby Pink (which is just a matte baby pink color) right onto my brow bone as a highlight. And to soften the look I blended all the application downwards. Also you can use something shimmery as your highlight shadow since all the colors are matte. But I personaly don't like that glow effect on my brow bone area. So, I more prefer matte shades for this step.

With my small IOPE crease brush I applied Cathy Cat eye shadow from R06 triple palette (unfortunately discontinued product but I'm pretty sure you have a dupe color for this as well) in Metallic Brown on my outer V corner and blended it towards my inner corner. Also I got the same Metallic Brown all over my lower lash line using an angled brush.

I lined my waterline with a white eye pencil to "open" the eyes, lined my upper lid with The Face Shop black liquid eyeliner, curled my eye lashes, applied some of black mascara and finally added XN crossed false lashes by The Face Shop. On the picture with close eye there is glue still dry.

Also I lined my lips with a random pink lipliner and added a little bit of VoV lip gloss # 08 all over my lips.

And thats it! Here is the final look!

And I also have finished another make-up product. Yay! To be honest with you I am very proud of myself! This is just a green make-up base. But I don't need replacement stuff yet for this product. Because I have another green base to finish first. And only after that I'll be buy Castledew green base and may be a liquid foundation, if there is. I've heard a lot of good reviews from other beauty bloggers about these products and really want them to try.

Pierre Cardin make-up base in Green #2. This is without any SPF and any other sunscreen to it, so I used it only for my make-up tutorials. Because all the sunscreen ingredients in make-up products makes all faces more brighter and whiter and all that stuff. And I wanted that my pictures were more truthful. Also it is kind of mousse consistency and not green at all. I mean after appling this product my red cheeks still being the same red lol: But anyways, I am done with it now.

Make Up Tutorial : Looks Smokey Green + Blog Award

Happy Belated White Day! :) Finally yesterday was "Valentine's Day for Women" like date here in Korea. My hubby brought me a chocolate, which I ordered him a prior hahaha~ I always do that :P And also we had such a nice evening BBQ meal. I'm so like BBQ :) Actually I spent very nice weekend in general too. I met my friends and a lot of friends of my hubby visited us. Yeah, kind of communicative weekend lol:

And just a random thing. I am so hate nail polishes which are very liquid and sheer consistency. I begin to tremble when necessary to apply 3-4 or more coats just to get a normal color of varnish. Usually in this situation I do not use such a product for a long time, and against waiting until it thicken. What are you doing in this case?

Today I did a smokey sort of look which is very dramatic using greens and browns only. It is pretty simple to do. And I hope you'll get it try :)

To start with I applied The Face Shop waterproof gel eyeliner in Black #01 all over my upper lid as a base for green eye shadow. Also I wanted that outer corner of my eyes looks very sharp lined. So, to get this clean line I put a random card on my face and then applied the black base on. With a big fluffy brush I blended it upwards. It is not gonna looks perfect at first because it's just a base. Don't worry about it.

Than I took a regular flat eye shadow brush and applied Green shade all over the black base and left outer corner uncovered. Also I put this eye shadow little bit under the eyes and all over my tear duct area as well.

With the same flat eye shadow brush I applied matte Brown shade on the rest of my eye lid; again using a random card, just to get that precise clear outer line. And nicely connected two colors together.

With my big flat eye shadow brush I applied matte sheer Green color up to the brow as my brow bone higlighter. And blended everything downwards to soften the look.

Next I took small crease brush and lightly applied bright Green eye shadow all around the Brown and Green colors. Just to give a bit of brightness to this colors. As well as I added some of shimmery White color under the outer V line to make it more nice and clean and also I applied a little bit of the White up to my brow bone.

I lined my waterline with a black pencil, and added some of Brown and Green eye shadows on my lower lash line. Lined upper lid with The Face Shop black liquid eyeliner, curled my eye lashes and applied some of black mascara on. Also I applied The Face Shop XN false eye lashes which is just crossed looking. For my lips I used a neutral/nude lip gloss. And thats it.

Also the other day I've got this pretty blog award from ning * star ThanQ so much! Very appreciate it :)

I really want to do a make-up updates everyday, but I don't have nice and bright ideas any more. Oh my Muse! Please come back! I miss you a lot!

My "Go-To" Make Up and More Finished Products + New Blog Layout

I changed my blog layout again :) Yay! Actually I like it more :) What do you think? If there are any problems in connection with this new blog skin, please let me know. And I'll fix it :) ThanQ!

Every time I make a bright or dramatic make-up looks I always get the question about can I wear it in a real time? And my answer is no. Don't looking at how strong I love all smokey and bolt eye make-ups I still can't wear it on a daily basics. Because the main make-up trend here in Korea - a natural beauty. I mean flawless skin and minimum or no eye shadows with an eyeliner/tight line on. So, if I make a make-up to my taste that I like, people just do not understand me and will draw unwanted attention to me. And today I just decided to show my "go-to" make-up look, which I am doing for wearing. For this day time make-up I am using an eye shadow palette with a matte shades in it. Because I am so loving all matte colors. Also I got this palette for free and I actually can't say how cheap or expensive the price is.

To start with I primed my eye lid with Etude Shine Stick #04 as my cream color base. Then I belded it out with my ring finger.

With a regular flat eye shadow brush I applied light yellow-ish shade all over my cream color base and blended the harsh line upwards.

After that I took a big flat brush and applied my brow bone highlight color by The Face Shop in BR 801 and blended it downwards to make soften the actual look.

With my Cathy Cat blending brush I applied another neutral color right above the main lid eye shadow. To make a dimention on my "crease" area. Lightly blended all the colors together.

With IOPE small crease brush I applied matte mid-brown eye shadow on my outer V corner to make a more focused look. And again, blended all the colors very nice.

I lined my waterline with The Face Shop Caryon Eyeliner, I'm not sure about the name of this stuff, but it's something like in bronze or gold shade. Applied a little bit of crease color all over my lower lash line. Lined my upper lid with The Face Shop Simple Draw black liquid eyeliner, curled my lashes and applied black Enprani mascara.

Also I primed my lips with a lip balm and applied some of natural toned lip gloss. And thats all.

Here is the final pictures and the look I can wear outside. By the way, it is not the only way I do my everyday make-up, but that something in sort of pastel tones. Because I am usually using this matte palette a lot.

And the very fun part for today, at least for me! The finished products! Because I am totally like finishing something. It makes me very inspiring and uber exciting. I still have a lot of products which should ends soon. And it means that I can get something fresh for the replacement, but only after I will have an empty pan ( I have a deal with myself lol:)

Tony Moly Clear Magic Eye make up remover. It is actually second bottle of this product I've used. I do not know why I bought yet another bottle of the make-up remover, because I hate it a lot lol: It is very oily consistency thing! But anyways, I am done with it :) And now I am using a make-up remover tissues with Green Tea.

Skin Food Gold Caviar Toner. I have finished using the emulsion a long time ago and the other day I am finally finished this product as well :) As part of this containing a gold, as it states by Skin Food. Now I start using Clean & Clear toner.

Make Up Tutorial: Cut That Silver+ Blog Award

Today's make-up was absolutely inspired by MakeupGeekTV one of my favourite make-up guru. I saw her last tutorial on you tube it is something about how to make brown eyes pop. And I really liked the combination of colors, which was used. So I decided to do exactly the same color scheme but with a cut the crease technique. I have not done this cutting crease make-up looks for already long enough.

To start the make-up I primed my eye lid with Shiseido concealer just to get even surface. Next with The Face Shop Crayon Eyeliner in Purple I cut my crease on outer V corner as always I do. Using a stiff small brush.

With the same brush which I used for blend out my Purple pencil I applied VoV Color Song eye shadow in Aqua Violet #7345 all over the base. It is single eye shadow but I put all of them in one clear CD case which is very useful to work with.

For my main lid base I used VoV Color Song Eye Color in Sugar White #1 cream color pencil. I applied a little bit of that carefully and blended it out with my ring finger. Make sure you didn't smudged the crease area. If you are, just go ahead and put more Aqua Violet color on your crease where you need it.

After that I took regular shader brush and applied gray color by Prorance Sunny Glam Eyeshadow palette SV403 in Crystal Silver all over Sugar White cream color base. And again, don't touch the crease area. Take your time to do this step.

With my Cathy Cat blending brush I applied just a matte Violet color all around the crease area and blended all the colors together without any harsh lines. If you lost some of Aqua Violet eye shadow feel free to add more.

For my brow bone highlight color I applied another matte pink-ish VoV eye shadow and blended it downwards to soften the look. I used all the eye shadow from this palette in that pan and just put in there remnants of VoV shadow for more convenient using.

I lined my waterline with the same The Face Shop Purple eyeliner and applied the same matte Violet color all over my lower lash line. Lined upper lid with The Face Shop black liquid eyeliner, curled my lashes, applied black Enprani mascara and finally added some fasle lashes by VoV #1.

For lips I used just a natural colored lip gloss. I noticed that I really do like all natural/neutral lip stuff!

Also I've got an award and decided to post it immediately, because I am always forget about things like this.
