So Bronze Spray Tan

I don't know about you but I'm getting really sick of winter. I feel white, pasty....and just plan washed out. I came across this totally amazing spray tan by So Bronze. I have tried at home spray tans in the past and while the color of one in particular was nice it was SO messy. I mean stain your ceiling and wall's kind of messy. This other unnamed spray tan (*cough* it has the word love in it) would spray out streaky and I'd have to use my hands to even it out. So Bronze is seriously SO easy especially for the face and neck. It takes me 20 seconds of going in a back and forth motion and volia...healthy, glowy, bronzed skin! The color that comes out looks like a natural color tan and not at all orange. This is really a no fuss no muss tanner. It's quick and easy and you don't have to use your hands!
When you first spray it you will see a slight color but the color will deepen in 4-6 hours. I recommend spraying it on at night and taking a shower in the morning. When you wake up you will have a nice warm looking tan. This tanner dries in 2-3 minutes... which is not bad in my opinion. This spray tan does have a scent but it's not one of those gross tanning scents. It smells pretty nice. I would have to say it lasts 5-7 days on the body but I like to refresh my face and neck every 3-4 days.
Like with ANY self tanner exfoliating is a must! If you don't exfoliate your arms or body then you will have dry patchy tanned skin. That's what happened to me the first time on my arms. That was my fault though because I didn't get off my dead/dry skin.
(SO BRONZE Skin-healthy ingredients include aloe vera, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.)

After getting bronzed up.... here with my little baby boy

Over all I really recommend this spray tan. It's really easy, quick and the color you get is really nice. It's not messy... I don't want to spend an extra 5 cleaning after I tanned. I didn't even have to wash my hands after using that... now that says something!!

2 minutes after spraying it on my skin
4 hours after I sprayed it on my skin
Tan deepened to it's fullest over night
Please note: that I sprayed it like this for review purposes only to show you the contrast between super pale skin and the deep beautiful color you can get from it. I'm glad I did this to show you but now I'm stuck with a funky looking arm. Ha ha. I did it all for you! :)

I bought this from the the source skincare (great, great store by the way! Amazing costumer service!) If you are interested they have a coupon running now until March 13th for 20% off. Use the code sardunSOBRONZE. It has to be typed as shown or it won't work. Also, this item ships for free if you live in the US. Now, that's REALLY unusual theses days and really nice to find. They also ship international.

Happy tanning! :)

I bought this product, I was not paid or asked to review this product. These are my honest feelings and thoughts. I am not affiliated with this company. I truly like the product.

Product Review : The Face Shop Cake Eyebrow

Today I decided to do a review for the product which I am using every single time when I do my make-up!

This review based absolutely on my personal opinion and nothing besides! I have no one pays for this blog-post, because I purchased the product on my own money. Why I do this review? Simple! Because I want to share with you my honest opinion about the product, which is really pay my attention. Also, I am not a professional make-up artist, if you only trust them, I can not help you here!

More information about this product and more of The Face Shop line check out http://www.thefaceshop.com/ on-line store. There is "english" button on upper right corner.

What is this? The Face Shop Cake Eyebrow #01. Actually I have not seen anything except this shade only in my local The Face Shop store.

The Face Shop says: Concept : Powder type brow enhancer is ideal to create soft and natural brows which is the key to a polished-but-natural look. No more artificial-looking brows! Frame your brows with this easy-to-use brow compact. . Description : Strong lasting power from the "wax coating powder" and the "multi-complex powder."

It is a transparent plastic packaging, which you can watch through. It cames up with two different shades: darkest and lightest tones. Also this includes a small double-sided applicator. One of the side is a usual synthetic brush with a very nice hair. And another side with a tiny spooly brush. It is practical to use applicator, I can say. Because I use the spooly side every time I use the product and I prefer it more than the usual size eyebrow spooly brush. Just because I have very thin shape eyebrows and it is kinda very easy and accurate to use exactly this size of spooly brush to shape my eyebrows. But I do not use a brush side of the applicator, because I find it very harsh. Prefer using an angled The Face Shop brush.

It has two different shades. One of them more darkest and another one more lightest. I have pretty dark, almost black hair. You know the hair color of typical Korean woman lol: And both of these shades suits me perfectly well. For a usual everyday make-up, I simply apply one of these shades, but I notice that I mostly  use a dark shade for my eyebrows. And of course when my makeup looks very light, therefore I use a lighter shade of the kit for more natural look. And in case if I want my eyebrows looking very dark, such as go-out in the evening/night time, I first make the shape of my eyebrows with The Face Shop brown eyebrow pencil, and then set it with one of the shades, depending on the intensity of make-up. But the common words I want to say that both these shades will perfectly suit for Asian girls and just for those who have dark hair.

The texture of this eyebrow kit is very nice and smooth and has a good payoff. And just because it is Cake Eyebrow kit the texture is slightly different from the usual shadows, specially designed for use on eyebrows.

Anastacia says: I am not very familiar with eyebrow powders. And just because of that I do not what to compare with, but only with an eye shadows I used before I bought this eyebrow kit. To find absolutely right tone of usual eye shadow for use it on the eyebrows was kinda very difficult for me. Because it should not be a shimmery/frosty finish eye shadow, just absolutely matte natural looking shade, as well as it should not have a red undertone to it and a lot of other bla-bla-bla. So I went and bought this eyebrow kit which is not expensive at all. But I am very glad I made this purchase! Would I buy this product again? Of course I do! But I do not think that I may finish this eyebrow kit soon. There is a lot of product in it.

On this small Eotd picture I used only dark shade of the kit on my eyebrow.

I think it is all what I want to say about The Face Shop Cake Eyebrow #01 kit. But if you have any other questions just leave me in the comment section and I'll be replay to you as soon as it's possible.

I got a FormSpring!

I hopped on the FormSpring bandwagon and added a question box to Makeup Piggy! Feel free to submit questions by using the box on the right column of this blog, or going here: http://www.formspring.me/MakeupPiggy

Dior Addict Shine... it's addicting.

I am addicted to this scent. I have so many samples of this because everytime I went to Sephora they would ask me what perfume sample I'd like and I always picked this one! My husband knew I was obsessed over this so he finally bought it for me last Christmas. It's nothing short of delicious. It's such a freshing scent without being overbearing. There is nothing worse than perfume that's so strong it makes you cough and sneeze. You won't get this here, sister. It's a very young and girly perfume but with a touch of sophistication.
Mmmmm.... I love it *smells writs*

(I wasted a lot of perfume trying to get this picture. Ha ha. Oh well.)

"Dior Addict Shine radiates its fresh fruity and glowing charm with an unexpected citrus-y top note of cedrat, a fresh middle note of gardenia and raspberry, and a sensual base note of cedar woods. Available exclusively at Sephora." -compliments of the Sephora website.

This runs $48 for .07oz or $67 for 1.7 oz ~Available exclusively at Sephora

What is your all time favorite scent? Have you tried Dior Addict Shine? If not.... you should!

Make-up Tutorial : Nighty Girl + Prize Package

First of all I want to thank everyone for all the kind words of support to me in my previous update. To be honest, I did not expect so much feedback about my stupid problem. And I am very grateful for this. Because pretty much each of the beauty-commentators left me a lot of kind words of support and it gave me a lot of emotional power! Now I feel much better and fresher!

Today I did something different on my eyes. It is kind of Middle East or Arabian style look, but since I am Korean non of Arabic type of make-up not gonna looks how it needs to be hahaha~ But anyways, it looks pretty dramatic and I really do like the eye make-up!

Firsting first I applied my cream color base by VoV Color Song Eye color cream pencil in Glam Gold #3 all over my upper lid and blended it out with my ring finger.

Next, with my flat regular eye shadow brush I applied this Bronzy color on inner part of the eye lid. This shade I used is from VoV 24 palette.

I hit the pan of another eye shadow today! Yay! Very exciting!

After that I took a stiff flat brush and matte Black eye shadow ( I used VoV Color Song e/s as well ) and put a plastic card on my outer corner just to create very precise line. Because I don't like using any scotch tape and etc. on my eyes area, just find that using a plastic card is kinda nice case. Applied this matte Black color on outer half of my eye lid and also pull a little bit to the inner corner. After that I took my fluffy blending brush and blended out all the harsh lines.

With a big flat eye shadow brush I applied Cathy Cat Trio eye shadow palette R06 in Metallic Gold up to my brow as a highlight color. And blended all the application dawnwards to soften the look.

With the same big flat brush I applied VoV Color Song eyes #1  in Crystal White under the line on my outer corner just to make it looks more clear and highlight.

I lined my waterline with a black eye pencil, lined my upper and bottom lid with The Face Shop black liquid eyeliner, curled eye lashes and applied some of black mascara. Also for more dramatic final look I added some false eye lashes by VoV #1.

And for my lips I used a pink lipliner and Revlon lipstick 025 in Carnation.

Here is the final look and the prize package from dear Diana of mayaari.com Diana did a give-aways in her blog a few weeks ago and I won one of them. When I saw the prizes and the nail polish in it, I was like OMG! I am really want that stuff! Because the color is to dye for hahaha~!

Anyways, here is the package. And so sweet of Diana that she put extra stuff in the package! ThanQ a lot! By the way, I ate some of the sweets and they are so delicious. Especially the Meltyblend one!! That is so tasty chocolate type sweet! Omnomnom!

Here is the prize which was in the give-away. Sinful Colors nail polish in Mercury Rising #860 and Revlon lipstick 025 in Carnation. I just find that on the bottle of the nail polish there is Korean letters, but I've never saw this brand in here before.

I used this lipstick for my today's make-up. The swatch of the product above. Very pretty color and the texture of this lipstick is so nice and smooth!

And here is my nails with the Sinful Colors nail polish in Mercury Rising #860. My camera doesn't pic all the nice shimmers to it but it looks so beautiful on the nails!! Very lovely color!

And also she put this extra goodies to the package: The Face Shop sheet mask in Pearl for clearer skin, Lunasol sample of Night Refining Cream and Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment.

Thank you so much Diana for all the goodies you sent me! I am so love the products!

Make Up Tutorial : Pretty Peacock + Finished Products

Does anyone have a problems with in-laws? I DO! Actually only with my mother-in-law. Yesterday we had a familly sort of go-out. And I received such a dose of stress, which I received on exams in school or in the most important occasions in my life; it's just a random comparison I did. She eats my nerves for a few minutes. Yesterday when we arrived at their house and were late by 15 minutes, just because my hubby was at work she was just yelling to both of us! Omg! and cavil to all that unnecessary things! She hates everybody: her son (my hubby), her youngest daughter, me, my son, my father-in-law etc. but everybody stand her. It's typical Korean stupid custom - not to be rude to adults! WTF! I had a headache all night long and this morning I had a crazy morning sickness, which actually was ended in the last month and burst capillaries on my face, around the eyes and the mouth area. Can you imagine how I was nervous and stressed last night? My husband doing everything possible to atone for her guilt in front of me, but he does, not she! I love him more and more but hate her more and more as well! Sorry for this upsurge of emotions rant! But I can't tell anyone, even to my mom about this things because I am ashamed for! But now I feel much better!

Making a make up is relaxing for me! Today I played around with another bright colors. And I think that I actually have already done something similar to this look but anyways, I am sure it was a long time ago :P
As my cream color base I used VoV Color Song Color Eyes in Sugar White #1 cream pencil. I applied it all over my upper lid and blended it upwards with my ring finger.
For the first color I used this Green with a little bit shimmer to it eye shadow with my regular flat brush. I put it on inner half of my eye lid.
Then I flipped over the same flat brush and took another turquoise-blue color by VoV Color Song Single eye shadow in Blue Star #7431 and put it on the rest of my eye lid. All that eye shadows was a single but I combined them all together in one clear CD case. It is very useful by the way.
After that I took my Cathy Cat blending brush and applied Violet eye shadow right above the eye lid colors. Just to blend that harsh line which I had. This Violet color is absolutely matte shade, because I don't like using any shimmer colors on the crease area. Shiny effect of the eye shadow just can't create all the necessary dimension to a make-up. It is my opinion only!
And lastly for my brow bone highlighter I used Paul & Joe Face color Powder 058 with a big flat brush. Also I blended all the color combination dawnwards to soften the look.
For my lower lash line I used the same flat brush and the same VoV Color Song Single eye shadow in Blue Star #7431. For lining my waterline I used White eye pencil by Prorance. Then I lined my upper lid with The Face Shop Black liquid eyeliner, curled my lashes and applied some black mascara. Also I added fasle eye lashes by VoV #4.
For my lips I used a pink lipliner and VoV lipgloss #08. I feel that I have to finish this lipgloss sooner, the better. Because the actual tube of the product broken and I depoted it in other non-lipgloss container, so it will deteriorate faster.
And final look!
Also today I finished 2 more products!!! Yay! I am so exciting about that! First finished product is VoV Good-Bye Eye Pender Eyebrow-pencil #12 in Grey. I bought this pencil last year and used it when my hair was blackiest black color lol: It was nice eyebrow pencil also very handy because it has a spooly brush on one side and actual product on another.
And other finished product of the day is my concealer. Not Shiseido one but another. I've bought that one specially for my blog make-up tutorials without any SPF and sunscreen to it. Because as you know, with a flash sunscreen making more bright/white skin effects. So I am done with that now. It was in a stick form kinda and I depoted it in another container a long time ago, so today I finished using all the remnants of the product. Yay! Go to Shiseido concealer now :)

However, there are numerous characteristics that emo styles have in common:

1. Bright and deep colours, particularly brought into view by highlights or long bangs. The highlights are often in contrast with the background of the rest of the hair. Most emo girls or boys dye their hair black or a gradient of brown/ black. In some emo girls, lighter colours such as white blonde, purple and green are very common and they do look attractive indeed.

2. Emo hair styles also tend to be more loose and have no restraints. Let's take the bangs haircut for boys - in this example, the hair is simply left to model around the side of the face without any elastic bands or clips; this also stands true for girls.

3. The most important factor and one that definitely a lot of boys who want to look emo have adopted are the long/ large side bangs. These usually hide either the left or right eye and consequently cover the side of the face, while on the other side the hair is cut shorter. The direction of the hair is also towards the side with the bangs as to create a mono directional type of haircut.

4. The fourth factor on my list is a deliberately messy look! This look is always individual and therefore reflects a user personality and style! Others should never be copied no matter how good you think their emo haircuts look! Always try to impose your own emo hair style and style in general.

Video Tutorial - Japanese Gyaru Makeup!

Here is my latest makeup video tutorial, this time of the ever-popular Japanese Gyaru look! The young ladies that follow this popular fashion trend are well known for their amazing makeup, with carefully applied eyeliner, gorgeous false lashes and awe-inspiring contouring skills. I am so amazed by how much time and effort these girls spend to look so gorgeous every day!

I used mostly browns and beige colors for this look because it is more lashes-focused. The eyeshadow is used to make your eyes look deeper, and I think too much color would overwhelm the face.

Anyway on with the video!

I had to extensively edit my video this time to get it under 10 minutes while being understandable, as there was over 10 gigs of video for me to go through! The music is from a J-Trance album, which is a popular music style among Gyarus.

Here's a closeup of my face showing the whole makeup without the wig:

And here is a GIF showing the progress of each step. Pay attention to how my lashes seems to "grow" from my eyes! XD

Photobucket

Finally, here is a pic of the false eyelashes I used, they are cut-and-pasted together from 5 pairs (2 top, 3 bottom)!

My review for the circle lenses I wore in this look can be found here: http://makeup-piggy.blogspot.com/2010/02/circle-lens-review-eos-g202-or-candy.html

To end this post, have a few more camwhoring pics for good measure:
